Who we are:

TADASHA is a Nonprofit Voluntary Society / Non Governmental Organization dedicated to empower, enable, and bring forward the neglect of the masses in all possible spectrums to live sustainably healthy in peaceful environment. Founded in 1992 by some energetic caring women, the voluntary organization furthered its income generation empowerment initiatives from Bhubaneswar to tribal dominant backward district of Kendujhar to attain the other diverse promises of its nucleus objects with the theme of “sustainable development through peace and sustainable peace through development”. The organization, through communitarian approach, strives to address the issues and development challenges by implementing and converging with wide-ranging government programmes and schemes alongside demanding to dovetail the supports of INGOs for transformative but incremental inclusive development of the area through convergence of synergies.

What we do:

TADASHA, not only just pioneered in Kendujhar District of Odisha but could implement to complete satisfactorily two of the “Integrated Wastelands Development Programme” (IWDP) Projects in watershed development approach funded by the Government. In addition to voluntary and convergence synergism to government schemes / programmes, the organization have been imparting Watershed Management and Skill Development trainings to the stakeholders of nearly all the watershed clusters (IWMP) in the district. Above and beyond, the organization currently is the Project Implementation Agency of an “Integrated Watershed Management Programme” (IWMP) in Kendujhar block and running a Family Counseling Center with the support of Central / State Social Welfare Boards. The association with the District Legal Services Authority has been the pride to serve the underserved and aware all walks in the matter of legal rights and services. More to the point, the organization is not only one of the leading agencies in construction / awareness of “Individual Household Latrines” (IHHL) under “Swachh Bharat Abhiyan” but enabling the strategy of extending Skills through “PMKVY”, especially the growing unrest youths, and solutions to the farmers through creations and functioning of Farmers Producers Organizations (FPO) are getting followed.
